Well said Kage.

Its possible to travel faster then the speed of light, its just impossible to accelerate matter trapped in our space-time past the speed of light. In our frame of reference yes C is constant and cannot be exceeded but there are other ways to by pass the ''acceleration'' albeit being theoretical and well beyond our current technology. Tachyons are an example of hypothetical particles that travel faster then light and do not violate causality.

Wait. :)

The problem is that the speed of light is believed to be the highest speed at which something can travel, so it is unlikely that we will be able to travel into the past. As an object nears the speed of light, its relativistic mass increases until, at the speed of light, it becomes infinite. Accelerating an infinite mass any faster than that is impossible
Pythagorean rule L122 = (X2 - X1)2 (Y2 - Y1)
time(1 - (U/c)2)1/2
(U=speed, c=speed of light)
dilation factor

if you went back in time, how would you get back? :)

no matter what u cant go to the past before the machine was created. u wouldnt be able to prevent yourself from being born like the movie time machine he couldnt save the girl because the girl was the reason the machine was created
if she lived the machine wouldnt be there thus making it impossible for her to live

Yeah, right, controlled. Just like the nukes, GE and those alike are controlled today :-))

End of discussion right here...FIRST, time does not exist we pass time does not. It was something we created because our simple minds couldn't grasp the way the universe moves and the way we pass(grow, live and die etc.) So it is impossible to "travel through time". However, I will pose a question. "Do you think it is possible to travel through the multi-verse, in other words to parallel universe?" USSR1941: how can you know so mutch about a machine that does not exist? i mean ho says that when you`"travel" with a time machine that you have to apear in a simular one in another time that proves just how impossible it is to travel from one time to another to a exakt possition this is just something you're imagining like marvel imagined and made up all the superheroes |
